Pink lemonade, Barbie, Candy floss (or Fairy floss as us Aussie’s call it), these are some of the things that spring to mind when you think of the colour pink. Well, pink doesn’t have to be sickly sweet, it can be very cool, indeed.

Everywhere you look at the moment, there are some amazing designer pieces in that soft blush shade that I’m referring to. Jamie Hayon’s Ro chair for Fritz Hansen and the Heal’s Twitter lamp and the Puntaspillone pouf by Missoni, to name a few.

These photographs that I styled were taken by the brilliant Iwan Essery and may give you some inspiration on how you can use pink in your own home. That wall covering? pink A4 paper!

In the first image at the top, those fabulous rubber floor tiles are the ‘Grid’ collection by Hemingway Design for Harvey Maria, the gorgeous retro desk is the Fonteyn desk in oak and walnut from Made.com and the desk lamp is, believe it or not, from Ikea!

Also, the fab fashion sketches on the wall are from Jessica Illustration at Etsy, click here to buy them.

Please email me if you would like to know where any of the other items in the images above are from.
