This weeks top tip is inspired by my bedroom wall. A couple of years ago I attempted to create a lovely collage-style wall with multiple framed pictures, but I failed miserably when I drilled holes in the wrong positions and made a right mess of our new plaster work.
Just find some paper, draw a line around your picture frame to create a template, then cut it out and tape it onto the wall where you would like to hang it. When you have made a configuration that you are happy with, then you can drill those holes! No more unnecessary damage to your walls.
Phew!
